Womxn's New Moon Circle

  • the fifty eight 58 Mimico Avenue Etobicoke, ON, M8V 1R3 Canada (map)

Gather in circle to connect and share with other womxn under the energy of the Leo New Moon.

About This Event

The New Moon is the darkest time of the month. It invites us to turn our gaze inwards, to look beyond the surface and connect deeply to our intuition. It is a potent time to set intentions, to plant seeds that will later manifest themselves, and to gather with womxn in circle to reflect, share, be seen, and offer healing.

This is not a workshop. This circle is a co-created event space that is heartfelt and welcoming and is open to all womxn-identified people. A place to connect with other wise womxn and to honour the collective feminine in our lives.

Womxn have been gathering in circles for centuries as a way to empower one another and share their stories. In a society that preaches autonomy and independence it can be difficult to find safe spaces to drop the masks and have an experience of real connection with others. Together we will create a space to tap into the energy of the lunar cycle and discuss how its’ impact is felt in our lives.

We will move with intention into a place of expression via sharing activities, guided meditation, journal prompts, and gentle movement as a way to journey inwards. You do not need to have any previous experience participating in circles.

What to bring:

-- Journal

-- A cherished or significant item for the collective altar

-- Comfortable clothing (we will be sitting and moving)

-- An open heart and mind

It can be hard to find or even feel real connection in our modern world. Our intention is to collectively create a safe space for womxn to come together to learn, share, and cultivate a deeper relationship with their inner world. Come gather in circle on the Leo New Moon (Aug 1) and gift yourself the opportunity to rewrite old stories, bring awareness to unconscious patterning, and connect meaningfully with other womxn.

We are eager to connect with you and experience the power of coming together as a collective!

Meet the Facilitators

Ivanna Kalyani has found a passion in creating supportive spaces for people to courageously feel the electricity of their true, authentic and empowered nature. Sourcing knowledge from her Bachelor's degree in western psychology, as well as her education in yoga and the eastern philosophy of the mind, she is dedicated to shedding light on the layers of conditioning that keeps us from fully connecting to ourselves and to others.

She is a certified Life Coach, a registered yoga teacher and has lead over 10 Yoga Teacher Trainings in Costa Rica where she currently resides. Nothing makes her more excited than travelling, connecting with and learning from other wise womxn, and discovering pieces of herself in different cultures around the world.

The journey of self-discovery and fulfillment is what drives Andrea Bilak to continuously expand her knowledge and practice. After an intense period of reflection and growth, Andrea became committed to learning about wellness practices that holistically nourish the body, mind and soul.

After completing her Yoga Teacher Training Andrea has fused her formal education as an Ontario Certified Teacher to the wellness realm, by creating offerings that allow people to explore their Self through physical movement, meditation, and creating space that allows for introspection and reflection.

Nothing brings her more joy than creating safe space for community to gather and tune into their highest Self and walk the path of greatest alignment.
